Fans at Monday's league contest between the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) and the visiting Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), observed Arleta's volleyball team top Monroe by a count of 3-1.

The Mustangs (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots enter the East Valley contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, Poly was knocked off by Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a East Valley contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Monroe will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 20-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA).
