Fans at Monday's league contest between the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) and the host Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA), observed Maywood CES's volleyball team top Torres by a count of 3-1.

The Wolfpack (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA). The Wolves enter the Southern contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Sotomayor was knocked off by Marquez (Huntington Park, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Toros meet the Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA) in a Southern contest, on Thursday, April 10. Torres will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Nighthawks enter the contest with a 0-13 record after their 0-0 league Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA).
