In Monday's league contest, the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves lacrosse squad scored a good 16-7 triumph over the Providence Panthers.

The Wolves (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres go into the Southwestern/So Meck contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, South Mecklenburg was overwhelmed by Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC), 9-8, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Providence will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 17-13 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).
