The Mountaineers now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Henderson for a Mountain Seven 3A challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Tuscola will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Smoky Mountain moves to 10-4 on the year. The Mustangs host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a Mountain Seven 3A challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 4-7. East Henderson won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Pisgah (Canton, NC)
