In Monday's league test, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), by a count of 11-1.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills test, on Wednesday, April 9. Pinecrest will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 7-5 record after their 15-2 league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).

The Colts (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the United 8/All American/Sandhills test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Jack Britt was overwhelmed by Cleveland (Clayton, NC), 11-6, in a non-league test.
