In Monday's league contest, the host Cardinal Mooney Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-6 win over the Southeast Pirates.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals enter the Region 6 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Canfield was overwhelmed by Boardman (Youngstown, OH), 6-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Pirates meet the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 10. Southeast will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 15-3 non-league win over St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH).
