The Jefferson Township Falcons lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Roxbury Gaels to 6 in the Falcons league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sparta for a Rizk challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Jefferson Township will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Roxbury falls to 1-2 on the year. The Gaels travel to Montville (Montville, NJ) to clash with the Mustangs in a Rizk challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Montville won 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Vernon (Vernon, NJ)
