In Monday's league contest, the visiting Lincoln Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-2 win over the Providence Country Day Knights.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Northmen enter the Division 3 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, North Smithfield by Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI), 16-6, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) in a Division 3 contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Providence Country Day will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 16-6 league win over North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI).
