Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) and the visiting Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), saw Mt. Pleasant's soccer squad triumph over Columbus by a count of 9-0.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Trojans enter the Southeast battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Fairfield notched a victory over WACO (Wayland, IA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 10. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Golden Hawks enter the battle with a 0-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to West Liberty (West Liberty, IA).
