The Columbus Sailors soccer squad scored 11 points and held the visiting Tripoli Panthers to 1 in the Sailors non-league victory on Monday.

The Sailors now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar League bout on Friday, April 11. Columbus will play a Falcons squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Tripoli moves to 0-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. MFL MarMac won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Delaware (Manchester, IA)
