Virginia High School Soccer - George Wythe knocks off Grayson County

The George Wythe Maroons soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Grayson County Blue Devils to 3 in the Maroons league victory on Monday.
The Maroons now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Honaker for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 8. George Wythe will play a Tigers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Holston (Damascus, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Grayson County moves to 1-4 on the year. The Blue devils host Galax (Galax, VA) to play the Maroon Tide in a Mountain Empire bout on Thursday, April 10. The Maroon Tide go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Galax won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA)
