California High School Softball - Pajaro Valley bounces Anzar

April 7, 2025: Watsonville, CA 95076

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA) and the visiting Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA), observed Pajaro Valley's softball team prevail over Anzar by a tally of 18-1.

The Grizzlies (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Gonzales (Gonzales, CA). The Spartans go into the PCAL - Cypress bout with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Gonzales was routed by North Monterey County (Castroville, CA), 11-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Marina Mariners (Marina, CA) in a PCAL - Cypress bout, on Wednesday, April 9. Anzar will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 20-8 league win over Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA).
