The De Queen Leopards softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Horatio Lions to 11 in the Leopards non-league win on Monday.

The Leopards now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashville for a 4A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, April 8. De Queen will confront a Scrappers team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Bauxite (Bauxite, AR). The Scrappers record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Horatio moves to 5-8 on the season. The Lions host Dierks (Dierks, AR) to confront the Outlaws in a 2A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Outlaws come into the battle with a record of 0-6. Dierks lost 11-2 in their recent league battle against Foreman (Foreman, AR)
