Nevada High School Softball - Desert Pines bested by Pinecrest Academy Cadence

The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars triumphed over the visiting Desert Pines Jaguars softball squad by a count of 27-11 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Desert challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. Pinecrest Academy Cadence will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 7-0 league win over Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV).

The Jaguars (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Clark (Las Vegas, NV). The Chargers enter the 4A Desert challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Clark was routed by Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV), 10-4, in a league challenge.
