Louisiana High School Softball - Sumner bounces Episcopal

In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Sumner Cowboys softball team scored a nice 17-3 win over the Episcopal Knights.
The Cowboys (24-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 8-12 record. In their last match, St. Thomas Aquinas notched a victory over Central Private (Baker, LA), 10-5, in a non-league contest.
The Knights now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they host False River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 8. Episcopal will face a Gators squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Maurepas (Maurepas, LA). The Gators record now stands at 7-11.
