Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Rowland Hall Winged Lions (Salt Lake City, UT), 18-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Gunnison Valley improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to San Juan (Blanding, UT) to face the Broncos in a 2A Central game on Tuesday, March 25. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 4-6.

The Winged Lions now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Summit for a 2A North game on Wednesday, March 19. Rowland Hall will face a Braves squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, UT). The Braves record now stands at 0-1.
