In Monday's league match, the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers softball team scored a tight 11-8 win over the Moriarty Pintos.
The Hilltoppers (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the 4A District 2 match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Moriarty nipped Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 15-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Pintos battle the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 4A District 2 match, on Monday, April 7. Moriarty will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 4-4 non-league Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
