In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Ruidoso Warriors softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Mescalero Apache Chiefs.

The Warriors (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils come into the 3A District 4/5 match with a 3-11 record. In their last match, Sandia Prep notched a victory over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 18-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Chiefs confront the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 10. Mescalero Apache will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 2-8 record after their 18-2 league loss to Estancia (Estancia, NM).
