Texas High School Softball - Whitesboro held off by Ponder

April 7, 2025: Ponder, TX 76259

In Monday's league test, the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) softball squad got by the visiting Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX), by a tally of 7-6.

Next, the Lions clash with the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 test, on Saturday, April 12. Ponder will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 5-10 record after their 19-8 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).

The Bearcats (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 5-10 record.
