The St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) softball routed the host Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 17-6 in Monday's league outing.
The Saints now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Plaquemines for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8.
With the loss, Varnado moves to 4-5 on the season. The Wildcats host McGehee (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Hawks in a 1A District 10 outing on Tuesday, April 8. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 7-4. McGehee won 18-0 in their recent non-league outing against Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA)
