The Aztec Tigers baseball team scored 23 runs and held the host Shiprock Chieftains to 0 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.
The Tigers now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miyamura for a 4A District 1 test on Thursday, April 9. Aztec will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Patriots record now stands at 8-10.
With the defeat, Shiprock drops to 6-11 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to clash with the Bobcats in a 4A District 1 test on Thursday, April 9. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 11-7. Bloomfield won 10-4 in their recent league test against Gallup (Gallup, NM)
