The Hackett Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Danville Little Johns to 1 in the Hornets league win on Tuesday.
The Hornets now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Subiaco Academy for a test on Wednesday, April 8. Hackett will play a Trojans team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Acorn (Mena, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Danville drops to 3-6 on the year. The Little johns travel to Hector (Hector, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 14. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-6.
