Texas High School Baseball - Thorndale defeats Granger

The Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Granger Lions (Granger, TX), 9-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brazos Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 16. Thorndale will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, Granger drops to 9-6 on the year. The Lions host Bremond (Bremond, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, April 10. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Bremond lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX)
