New Mexico High School Baseball - Grants wallops Highland

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Grants Pirates baseball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Highland Hornets.
The Pirates (12-8) will now prepare for their game against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the 4A District 5 game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Belen knocked off Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 6-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Hornets play the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a 4A District 5 game, on Friday, April 10. Highland will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the game with a 8-11 record after their 7-6 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
