The Sheldon Irish baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host South Medford Panthers to 2 in the Irish league win on Tuesday.

The Irish now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprague for a non-league test on Thursday, April 9. Sheldon will play a Olympians team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Olympians record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, South Medford drops to 7-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Sheldon (Eugene, OR) to play the Irish in a 6A Southwest test on Saturday, April 11. The Irish go into the test with a record of 3-5. Sheldon lost 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Sprague (Salem, OR)
