Indiana High School Softball - Austin bounces New Washington

April 7, 2026: New Washington, IN 47162

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) and the host New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), observed Austin's softball team prevail over New Washington by a tally of 20-6.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Borden (Borden, IN). The Braves go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Henryville Hornets (Henryville, IN) in a Southern bout, on Friday, April 10. New Washington will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over New Albany (New Albany, IN).
