California High School Softball - Chavez bested by Taft

The Taft Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Chavez Titans softball squad by a count of 15-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) in a South Sequoia challenge, on Thursday, April 9. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 15-1 league loss to Taft (Taft, CA).

The Titans (6-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Taft, CA). The Wildcats enter the South Sequoia challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Taft overcame Chavez (Delano, CA), 15-1, in a league challenge.
