Arkansas High School Softball - Lamar sneaks past Mansfield

The Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR) softball nipped the host Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, AR), 1-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perryville for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 9. Lamar will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 4-1 league win over Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Mansfield moves to 5-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Gentry (Gentry, AR) to encounter the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 9. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 8-1. Gentry won 14-4 in their recent league outing against Huntsville (Huntsville, AR)
