In Friday's league game, the visiting Tumwater Thunderbirds baseball team scored a tight 11-4 victory over the Aberdeen Bobcats.
The Thunderbirds (7-3) will now prepare for their game against WF West (Chehalis, WA). The Bearcats go into the 2A Evergreen game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, WF West tipped Chelan (Chelan, WA), 8-1, in a non-league game.
The Bobcats (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Rochester (Rochester, WA). The Warriors go into the 2A Evergreen game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Rochester was overwhelmed by Shelton (Shelton, WA), 7-6, in a league game.
