With the win, Alvord upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Saturday, April 9. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 5-2. Sam Rayburn won 12-2 in their recent league test against Bland (Merit, TX)

With the defeat, Chico falls to 1-4 on the season. The Dragons host Lindsay (Lindsay, TX) to battle the Knights in a 2A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, April 19. The Knights come into the test with a record of 9-12.
