The Big Sandy Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Sabine Pass Sharks to 2 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Rebels go into the 2A Region IV District 25 match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Evadale gained a win over Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX), 19-0, in a league match.
The Sharks (1-4) will now prepare for their match against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers go into the 2A Region IV District 25 match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, West Hardin gained a win over High Island (High Island, TX), 11-1, in a league match.
