The Boyd Yellowjackets crushed the visiting Ponder Lions baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9. Boyd will face a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Azle (Azle, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
