Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA), 7-6 in a league test.

With the win, Effingham County upgrades its record to 12-12 on the season. The Rebels travel to South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to battle the Mustangs in a AAAAAA Region 2 test on Monday, April 11. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-16. Bradwell Institute lost 15-13 in their recent league test against Brunswick (Brunswick, GA)
