The Kearns Cougars baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Granger Lancers to 2 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their match against West (Salt Lake City, UT). The Panthers go into the 6A Region 2 match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, West was overwhelmed by Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT), 18-7, in a league match.
The Lancers (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Roy (Roy, UT). The Royals go into the 6A Region 2 match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Roy was overwhelmed by Fremont (Plain City, UT), 16-0, in a non-league match.
