The Mena Bearcats baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Hope Bobcats to 6 in the Bearcats league victory on Friday.
The Bearcats (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Leopards go into the 4A Region 7 match with a 2-5 record.
The Bobcats (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Cobras go into the 4A Region 7 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Fountain Lake gained a win over Bauxite (Bauxite, AR), 4-3, in a league match.
