The West Rusk Raiders baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Waskom Wildcats to 6 in the Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Raiders (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region II District 16 match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, Tatum edged Jefferson (Jefferson, TX), 5-1, in a league match.
The Wildcats (4-12) will now prepare for their match against Arp (Arp, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 16 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Arp edged Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX), 9-3, in a league match.
