Connecticut High School Volleyball - Pomperaug over Kolbe-Cathedral

April 8, 2022: Bridgeport, CT 06604

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) and the host Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT), saw Pomperaug's volleyball squad beat Kolbe-Cathedral by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Pomperaug upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Panthers host Newtown (Newtown, CT) to play the Nighthawks in a South-West bout on Wednesday, April 13. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

The Cougars now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Stamford for a non-league bout on Monday, April 11. Kolbe-Cathedral will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-3.
