North Carolina High School Soccer - Cornerstone Charter knocks off Bethany

Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals confront the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 12. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record.

The Wolves now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they host Leadership Academy for a Northwest Piedmont 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Bethany will confront a Falcons team coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.
