Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE), 12-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Omaha Westside upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Warriors host Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to battle the Chieftains in a non-league test on Monday, April 11. The Chieftains come into the test with a record of 2-7. Bellevue East won 25-0 in their recent non-league game against Bryan (Omaha, NE)
The Navigators (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Kearney tipped Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE), 10-0, in a non-league game.
