The Union Mine Diamondbacks baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Rosemont Wolverine to 1 in the Diamondbacks league victory on Friday.
The Diamondbacks (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Bear River was overwhelmed by Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA), 13-2, in a league match.
The Wolverine (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Folsom was overwhelmed by Whitney (Rocklin, CA), 9-4, in a league match.
