The Newburyport Clippers lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the visiting Pentucket Regional to 6 in the Clippers league win on Friday.
The Clippers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Generals go into the Cape Ann match with a 1-2 record.
The (1-1) will now prepare for their match against North Reading (North Reading, MA). The Hornets go into the Cape Ann match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, North Reading was nudged by Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA), 11-1, in a league match.
