Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they host Frenship for a 6A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Abilene will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Midland Legacy falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Region I District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 9. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 17-6. Frenship won 14-1 in their recent league challenge against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)
