The Verrado Vipers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Agua Fria Owls to 8 in the Vipers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Verrado moves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Vipers host Washington (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Rams in a non-league game on Monday, April 11. The Rams come into the game with a record of 6-10. Washington lost 15-4 in their recent league game against West Point (Avondale, AZ)

In their next game, the Owls clash with the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 14. Agua Fria will attempt to move on its 5-14 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 1-16 record after their 16-4 league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ).
