Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Silver Foxes now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Irvin for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Jefferson will face a Rockets squad coming off a 28-17 league loss to El Paso (El Paso, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 0-16.

With the loss, Andress falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Austin (El Paso, TX) to face the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-22. Austin lost 24-10 in their recent league challenge against Burges (El Paso, TX)
