In Friday's league contest, the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), by a margin of 22-0.
With the triumph, Arleta moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Mustangs host La Canada (La Canada, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 9. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 10-5. La Canada won 2-1 in their recent league contest against San Marino (San Marino, CA)
In their next game, the Lancers play the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a East Valley contest, on Friday, April 22. Grant will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record.
