Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), 12-6 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Eldorado for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
With the loss, Atrisco Heritage Academy falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to face the Storm in a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 15-5. Cleveland lost 14-8 in their recent league challenge against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
