California High School Softball - Beaumont nudges Yucaipa

April 8, 2022: Beaumont, CA 92223

Beaumont Cougars (Beaumont, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Yucaipa Thunderbirds (Yucaipa, CA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Citrus Valley for a Citrus Belt challenge on Wednesday, April 13. Beaumont will battle a Blackhawks squad coming off a 10-5 league win over Redlands (Redlands, CA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Yucaipa falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Cajon (San Bernardino, CA) to battle the Cowboys in a Citrus Belt challenge on Monday, April 11. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. Cajon won 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA)
