Texas High School Softball - Big Spring bounces Estacado

The Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) softball routed the host Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), 13-3 in Friday's league bout.
The Steers (15-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Chiefs go into the 4A Region I District 3 bout with a 7-18 record. In their last bout, Lake View was routed by Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 13-7, in a league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 8-21 record. They play next when they host Snyder for a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, April 12. Estacado will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-15.
