South Carolina High School Softball - Broome bounces Gaffney

Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Centurions now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chesnee for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. Broome will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 14-0 league win over St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Gaffney falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC) to battle the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Boiling Springs lost 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN)
