Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cedar Park Timberwolves (Cedar Park, TX), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host Marble Falls for a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Liberty Hill will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Leander (Leander, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-16.

With the loss, Cedar Park falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Glenn (Leander, TX) to battle the Grizzlies in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 16-11. Glenn won 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Rouse (Leander, TX)
